Starting Over Again is a 2014 Philippine dramedy-romantic film directed by Olivia Lamasan, written by Carmi Raymundo and distributed by Star Cinema. The film stars Toni Gonzaga, Piolo Pascual and Iza Calzado. It was released in the Philippines on February 12, 2014 and selected theaters in the United States on February 15, 2014. Starting Over Again is a romantic-comedy story about second chances. Pascual and Gonzaga plays ex-lovers in the movie. Also in the movie is actress Iza Calzado who plays Piolo's current love.

Rocco Espiritu (Xian Lim) and Rocky Espiritu (Kim Chiu) have one thing in common: they are both in need of money, fast. On the eve of his 25th birthday and the day he is set to receive money from his trust fund, Rocco parties, gets drunk, and loses all his money on a poker match. Now he has to produce the amount or else lose the client he needs to defeat his father’s TV commercials production company. Meanwhile, Rocky needs to pay the rent or else, her whole family will be homeless. The only way for Rocco to get the money from his trust fund is to fulfill the conditions set by his grandmother: that is, to get married. However, the real complication begins when feelings start to grow between the two of them. Will they be able to make their agreement work or will they be a victim of their own scheme and turn their whole pretense into something real?

The plot of the film revolves around three central characters. Phillip, a sought-after bachelor. Vivian, a rich young woman who is the sole heir to a profitable business empire. Several months after Sheila and Nathan got togethet and the new Vivian came back from her supposed to be honey moon. The new Vivian will do something to revenge to Sheila & Nathan and the conflicts will start there. What will prevail in the end? Love, Infidelity or Friendship?
The concept of the movie is based on a Filipino superstitious belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits to one's home. One should first shake off (in Filipino, pagpag) whatever curse there may be to avoid being trailed by the soul of the dead.
